Speed Limits within Geozone can be active all times, or you can now restrict the speed limit to certain times of day, or days of the week. The time and date restriction can be applied to all geozones, including any preexisting geozones.

To start, either edit an existing geozone or create a new geozone. For additional assistance with creating or editing a geozone please view the following support article:

How to Create or Edit a Geozone

To start you will enter the Speed Limit and Grace period if it is not present to be able to access the time and date restrictions.

Once entered, the restrictions for time and date will become available. This will allow you to configure the specified speed limit to Days of the Week, Time of Day, or between a certain Date Range.

Days of the Week Active: Configurable for all or certain days of the week. If the checkmark is present, then that means the speed limit in in effect for that day

Time of Day Active: Configurable for the speed limit to be active all-day, or between a specified start and end time

Date Range Active: Configurable to have the speed limit active year-round or between two dates.

Below is an example configuration one might use for a school zone. Note that the speed limit is only in effect Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM.

It is also important to know that the times for a day ends at midnight. If the desired time for the speed limit to be enforced goes past midnight, then 2 days are needed to be selected.

Example: Speed Limit for the geozone is set to be on from Monday 8PM to Tuesday 4AM. This would require selected both Monday and Tuesday and entering the time to be 8:00PM to 4:00AM.
