1. Connect your tablet to your computer using a USB cable. Users of this guide will likely need a USB Micro-B cable. 


  1. Click the following link:

  2. Click the Download button in the top right corner of the page


  3. Click "Download Anyway" on this warning message


  4. Browse to your computer's Downloads Folder and Right-click the downloaded zip file, then select the option “Extract all...”



  5. Ensure the checkbox for “Show extracted files when complete” is checked on the next window, then press “Extract” in the lower right-hand side.


  6. A windows folder will open. Open the folder named "manual_update_navistream".

  7. Double-click the file named “run”.

  8. Depending on your version of Windows, you may get a variety of different security messages that come up. The file that you’re running is safe. Say yes to any prompts asking if the program is safe to run. If you get a blue “Windows protected your PC” message, press “More Info” to get a button that says “Run Anyway”.





  9. A black window will appear and start running the application. Do not touch the tablet, or the black window until you're prompted with:

    Then, press any key.


Please note:

If the above process does not begin immediately, check your tablet for a prompt. You may have a screen that says “Allow USB Debugging” at the top. Press OK on this window to continue.



The program will run and update your tablet to a version of Navistream that can update successfully. Do not touch the tablet until it comes back up to the login screen.
